HP University M.Sc. Nursing Entrance Exam

The Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), Department of Medical Education and Research, Govt. of Himachal Pradesh invites applications for admission to 2-year M.Sc. Nursing Course in Government/Private Nursing Colleges/Institutions in the state; entrance test-2018 for admission is being conducted in August.

Eligibility criteria for HP University M.Sc. Nursing Exam

Admission to HP University M.Sc. Nursing Degree course will be made on the basis of merit of the entrance test. The candidate must be registered as Nurse/Midwife (RN/RM), B.Sc./Post Basic, B.Sc. Nursing with H.P State Nurses Registration Council, Shimla/ or equivalent. The candidate must be between 17 and 35 years of age as on December 31, 2018.

The proposed Exam for admission to M.Sc. Nursing Entrance Exam will be held on August 5, 2018 and filling of the application form online is available from June 26 to July 23, 2018. The date for uploading admit card on Varsity Website is July 31, 2018.

The syllabus and course schedule for Himachal Pradesh University Entrance Exam to M.Sc. Nursing Degree Course shall be strictly as prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and the Department of Medical Education and Research, H.P. University, Shimla.

Exam Pattern and Syllabus for HP University M.Sc. Nurses Entrance Exam

The examination shall consist of one written paper in accordance with the syllabi of GNM/B.Sc. (Nursing) studies. The medium of examination will be English and the question paper will have objective type question. A total of 150 questions will be asked and each question will carry one mark and duration will be two hours, with no negative marking.

The date of declaration of result is August 20, 2018, followed by the date of issuance of merit list, which is August 23, 2018.
