Amid the shadow cast by Novel Coronavirus around the world, the Government of India has created a master database (state and district wise) of all health care professionals and volunteers at https://covidwarriors.gov.in/. This- COVID Warrior’s database– is a pool of the data of the human capital for various COVID-19 and related activities and can be accessed to utilize for any assistance or help including enforcement of social distancing at banks, ration shops and mandi, and providing help to the elderly, the disabled and orphans etc.

It has a large pool of doctors including AYUSH doctors, nurses, other healthcare professionals, and volunteer workforce from National Service Scheme, Nehru Yuva Kendra, ex-servicemen, National Cadet Corps, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, etc. These Human resources can be mobilized from one location to another as and when required.
