I have grown up in a family where the idea of offering succor to suffering humanity preceded all pursuits of material woolgathering. I had a special penchant for Nursing profession since my childhood days as it was the best way forward for you to serve those in distress while you earn. Today I feel I have made the right choice given the respectability and global outreach of the noble profession had received.

After doing my GNM course from a Sundernagar-based Nursing institute, I was going through the whole gamut of options in my home state Himachal Pradesh and elsewhere, with the PGIMER top on agenda. I had been twice lucky for having been shortlisted among the successful by the IGMC, Shimla, but preferred PGIMER for many reasons than one.
