VACANCIES

Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for the recruitment of 120 Staff Nurse positions at Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot. Position Details:

Name of Post: Staff Nurse

Eligibility Criteria:

A) 10+2 or its equivalent qualification from a recognized board/university/institution.

B) B.Sc. Nursing or a three-year Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery from a recognized university/institution.

C) Registration with Punjab Nurses Registration Council, Chandigarh.

Preference will be given to candidates possessing a B.Sc. (N) qualification.

Experienced candidates will be preferred.

Pay Level: Pay Level-5 (Initial pay ₹29,200) as per 7th CPC.

Terms & Conditions:

1. Experience Marks: One year of experience equals 1 mark, up to a maximum of 10 marks. Marks will be awarded as per Order No. 978-983 dated 13-07-2020 issued by the Health & Family Welfare Department, Punjab, for candidates working on a contract or outsource basis in relevant posts within BFUHS and its constituent colleges/hospitals/institutes or those recruited under COVID-19 in Govt. Medical College, Amritsar, or Govt. Medical College, Patiala.
2. The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts at any stage without citing any reason or to not fill any or all the posts.
3. Pay scales will be provided as per the 7th CPC.
4. Pay will be governed by Punjab Civil Service Rules (Volume-1, Part-I) under Clause No. 4.1(1) and Department of Personnel, Govt. of Punjab, vide letter no. 7/204/2012-5fp1/66 dated 15/01/2015 and its amendments.
5. Candidates must have passed Punjabi up to Matriculation or its equivalent level at the time of application.
6. The upper age limit is 37 years as of 01/01/2024, with age relaxation as per Punjab Govt. Rules.
7. Candidates must submit/upload relevant certificates by the last date of application.
8. No TA/DA will be provided for interview or written test/counseling/document verification.
9. University has no mechanism to check the authenticity of certificates. If found bogus or ineligible at any stage, the candidature will be canceled, and legal action will be taken.
10. Certificates/diplomas/degrees from non-recognized institutions will not be considered, and such candidates will be declared ineligible.
11. Government employees must not have pending disciplinary proceedings or punishments and must obtain necessary NOC from the Head of the Department.
12. Applications without fees, legible documents, incomplete information, or received after the prescribed date & time will be summarily rejected.
13. Applicants must possess the requisite qualification by the last date of receipt of application.
14. Candidates already in service must route their application through the proper channel.
